First of all take a look at free CNA training for single mothers and disadvantaged individuals. There is a FAFSA program and being a single parent or being under some income and financial category you can apply for a government grant and get qualified for a free training. This program covers all expenses for your education and training. As I mentioned it is a government grand and it means that you will not have repay it. It is really free. Look around in local colleges if they offer Certified Nursing Assistant training programs or try some vocational schools. FAFSA usually offers grants for both colleges and vocational schools
Now few words about free CNA Training programs for current high school students. Have you heard about dual enrollment? Probably so, because has been available forever. In case your college or university offers a CNA program you can get a free training. To qualify for this program you need to present your average grade point to your local college or university. It has to be at least 3.5. CNA training program will substitute for one or a few of you high school classes. Besides that you will be allowed to leave your school to attend college or university classes and then come back to complete your regular school classes
As you probably noticed dual enrollment is only offered to high school students. However in case you are a high school student, dual enrolling for free CNA training will certainly give you a great advantage. Because right out of school you already will have your CNA degree and can start working immediately.
